Tuesday night was one of great fascination as we had one of the most clearest night skies I've ever seen. It really reminded me of a planetarium when one can see thousands of stars above you. We saw shooting stars, Saturn, Mars, and many constellations. The students made quick work of setting up their telescopes and began the quest of finding as many stars or planets as possible. Caleb even managed to find M7. Mr. Kaiyo and Mrs. Vismer couldn't get enough of Saturn and to see the rings... WOW!!
Trying to balance the telescope to start searching.

It's easy to keep everyone awake when taking photos in the pitch dark. ;-)

Looking, looking...

Cheeseeee - Keanu.

Team work to find Mars.

Hey, where are my team mates?

Mr. Kaiyo looking for Saturn.

FLASH!! Sorry Caleb.

Locking the lens.

Shouldn't you be pointing that higher??

Smiling for the FLASH - sorry guys!

Caleb couldn't stop looking for more and more stars! Poor Claudie!!
